Cooling tunnels · Transplex & CTU Cooling tunnel
Placed at the enrober outlet, the cooling tunnel crystallises your enrobed bonbons and biscuits continuously: they come out ready to be boxed. Fits all enrobers, with a length of your choice. Made in France.
- 2ranges: Transplex and CTU
- 180–420mm belt width
- 4–12 mand more, as required
Two ranges
Which cooling tunnel for your line?
Both tunnels connect to the outlet of any enrober. Choose according to the width of your products, the cooling length and the power supply in your workshop.
180–300 mm
Transplex tunnel
The compact 230 V tunnel: stainless steel frame, transparent hoods, cooling under the belt and removable deflectors. From 4 to 12 metres and more.
Ideal for: workshops and artisan production
220–420 mm
CTU tunnel
The highly insulated 400 V tunnel, controlled by touch screen, with radiation or convection cooling. From 6 to 12 metres and more, with belts up to 420 mm.
Ideal for: intensive production
Cooling tunnel
Transplex tunnel
The Transplex cooling tunnel fits all enrobers. Air speed is optimised thanks to cooling under the belt, and its transparent hoods let you see your products throughout cooling.

What you cool
Bonbons, biscuits, enrobed bars
The cooling tunnel takes over from the enrober for continuous production, with no handling.
Enrobed bonbons
Enrobed ganaches and pralinés come out crystallised, glossy and ready to box.
Biscuits and bars
Enrobed biscuits, florentines or bars go from the enrober to the tunnel without being handled.
A complete line
Connected to your enrober, the tunnel forms a true continuous production line.
In line with your enrober
How does a cooling tunnel work?
Your enrobed products go straight from the enrober into the tunnel: the chocolate crystallises along the way, and you collect pieces ready to pack.
Inlet
1. Decoration
The inlet table connects to the enrober: you decorate your bonbons before they enter the cold.
Cold
2. Crystallisation
By radiation (cold air circulates around the product) or by convection (cold air blows directly onto the product).
Outlet
3. Release
Products are released on a receiving plate or by passing onto a second belt, ready for boxing.
Frequently asked questions
Cooling tunnel: your questions
A cooling tunnel is placed at the outlet of an enrober. Enrobed products move on a belt through cooled hoods: the chocolate crystallises along the way, and the pieces come out ready to be boxed. It is the tool that turns an enrober into a continuous production line.
The Transplex is a compact 230 V single-phase tunnel (2,500 W), with 180, 220 or 300 mm belts and transparent PETG hoods. The CTU is a highly insulated 400 V three-phase tunnel (3,000 to 3,500 W), controlled by touch screen, with 220, 300 or 420 mm belts and modular polyester hoods.
In convection, cold air blows directly onto the products. In radiation, cold air circulates in the hoods around the products without touching them directly: ideal for more delicate products with transfers. The CTU offers both modes; the Transplex comes with removable deflectors for radiation cooling.
Yes. Transplex and CTU tunnels fit all enrobers. The CTU has an inlet table for decoration, with an adjustable nose for connection to the enrober.
It depends on your output rate and the cooling time of your products. The Transplex comes in 5.5, 7.5 and 10 m (4 to 8 m of cooling), the CTU in 8, 10 and 12 m (6 to 10 m of cooling). Other lengths are available on request.
Depending on the model, the belt passes over a receiving plate from which bonbons are picked up for boxing, or the products pass onto a second belt that makes release easier. The Transplex also has a paper unwinder for products with transfers.
Yes. Transplex and CTU cooling tunnels are made in France by Savy Hacos, a manufacturer of chocolate-making equipment for more than 50 years.
